the shred…INSANE
Spain…rules! first stop was Barcelona, one of my favourite cities in the world. its really beautiful, always great weather, clean, nice people and easy to find your way around. theres really good shopping and some awesome stuff to see like the old cathedrals. bumped into an old mate Julio who took Marta, Scott and I for a big of a shop. the show was cool, a little small due to a huge football match that was on that night, but the kids raged! then after the gig we walked to the beach which was a block away and sat for a bit.
Madrid was another shopping adventure day. not a whole lot to do around the venue so we got the subway to a mall and i bought some shoes and we ate a fairly Amercanised lunch.
Durango was a surprise. we didnt know much about what to expect but it turned out to be a really beautiful small Spanish city. lots of awesome old architecture and plenty of little windy cobblestone alleyways to check out. we were a little bummed at first because nothing was open but once ‘siesta’ was over everything opened back up at around 4pm and the streets were pumping with life again.
All in all apart from Italy, Spain, a favourite, came through with the goods again as usual :)
